Great Use of Wallpaper (in a nook!)

November 19, 2011 § Leave a comment

Props to the folks at Northern Spy who’ve cleverly integrated a wallpaper pattern (loosely representing an apple tree) into their cozy Manhattan restaurant. This booth, with it’s combination of rustic wood and graphic pattern, makes diners feel nestled into a charmed private enclave. Dense patterns like these benefit from applications in small spaces, like above a chair rail, or at the top a stair landing. Great job, Northern Spy!
